A limited family funeral service by invitation only to Celebrate and Remember the life of Mrs Alice Thompson will be held at Bramleigh Estate, 420 Ringwood-Warrandyte Road, Warrandyte on Thursday 18th June, 2020 commencing at 11.00am.

The service will be live streamed for Alice's family and friends who are unable to attend (due to the Covid-19 restrictions).

Alice passed away peacefully on Saturday 13 June, 2020 surrounded by family.

Adored wife of Jack for 47 years. Beloved Mother of Ken, Lyn, Stuart and David. Loved Mother-in-law of Sue, Noel and Lee.  Adored Grandma/Nanna of Jarrod and Mai, Davin and Jodi, Joelene and Michael, Peter and Louise, Adam and Jess, Amanda and Joel and Nick and Kate.  Loved Great Grandma/Nanna to Harold, Miles, Summah, Phoebe, Harvey, Elise, Audrey, Lachlan, Lucy, Callum, Jack, Ruby and Charlie.  Loved Sister to Doug, Eric and step brothers Rob and Geoff and Aunty to their families, special friend to Simone and Michael.

Alice had 90 great years culminating in her grand 90th birthday celebration with 70 family and friends in September, 2019, with her last big outing to the last of her grandson's Nick and Kate's wedding in February this year.  She was known as Alice from the Palace or Alice the Dancing Queen or just Fred.

She was so brave but in the end she was so looking forward to her journey to reunite with Jack.
